1. About Firepaw
Firepaw is provided by SIMINVEST EOOD (“Firepaw”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in the Commercial Register of the Republic of Bulgaria.
- Registered office: 32 Stefan Stambolov St., 4110 Parvenets, Plovdiv Province, Bulgaria
- Unified Identification Code (UIC): 160074344
- VAT number: BG160074344
- Email: info@firepaw.eu
2. Agreeing to these terms
These terms are a contract between you and SIMINVEST EOOD. You accept them when you create a Firepaw account. If you do not agree with them, please do not create an account.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal data. It is information we give you, not something you agree to. These terms are available in English, and you can read and save them at any time on this page.
3. Who can use Firepaw
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, and by creating one you confirm that you are. Each account is for one person and must not be shared.
If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we will close it and delete its data.
4. Your account
- Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for what happens in your account, unless it results from our fault or from access you could not reasonably have prevented.
- Keep your email address up to date and verify it. Only a verified address can be used to reset a forgotten password.
- If you think someone else has access to your account, change your password — this signs out every other device — and tell us at info@firepaw.eu.
5. What Firepaw provides
Firepaw lets you record your dog's treadmill sessions with a compatible Bluetooth speed sensor, keep dog profiles and training history, set goals, share a dog with co-owners, trainers and vets, transfer a dog's profile to another account, and run competitions.
Most features need an internet connection. Sessions and competitions recorded without one are uploaded to your account when you are back online, so your other devices can see them.
6. Acceptable use
Use Firepaw lawfully and in line with these terms. In particular, do not:
- access accounts, dogs or data that are not yours or not shared with you;
- try to break, probe or overload Firepaw's security or systems, or get around its limits;
- copy, decompile or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
- upload content that is illegal, that infringes someone else's rights, or that you are not entitled to share — including other people's personal data;
- use Firepaw to harass or harm people or animals;
- create accounts or use Firepaw by automated means, other than through our app.
7. Your content
What you add to Firepaw — dog profiles, notes, photos, weight records and sessions — remains yours. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, process and display it only as needed to provide Firepaw to you and to the people you share it with, for as long as it is stored. You confirm that you have the right to add it.
We do not sell your content and do not use it for advertising.
8. Reporting illegal content
Our content rules are the acceptable use rules above. We do not review content before it is added.
- To report content you believe is illegal, email info@firepaw.eu with: why you consider it illegal; where it is, such as the dog profile and the account involved; your name and email address; and a statement that you believe in good faith that your report is accurate and complete.
- We confirm that we have received your report, review it in a timely, diligent and objective way, and tell you what we decided.
- If we remove or restrict your content or your account, we tell you what we did and why, including the facts and the rules we relied on. These decisions are made by a person, not solely by automated means.
- You can challenge our decision by replying to our message or emailing info@firepaw.eu within 6 months. A person reviews it. You can also go to court.
- Our single point of contact for users and for authorities is info@firepaw.eu. We communicate in English and Bulgarian.
9. Your dog's health and safety
Firepaw measures activity. It does not give veterinary advice and does not diagnose or treat any condition. Ask a vet before starting or increasing treadmill training, especially for puppies, older dogs and dogs with health conditions.
Never leave a dog unattended on a treadmill, and use your treadmill as its manufacturer instructs. Stop at once and consult a vet if your dog shows pain, distress, overheating or lameness. You are responsible for your dog's welfare and for using your treadmill safely.
10. Measurements are estimates
Speed, distance and duration are calculated from the sensor's readings and the treadmill's calibration. They are estimates and can be inaccurate — for example if the sensor is mounted differently, the calibration is wrong or the Bluetooth connection drops. Do not rely on them for veterinary or safety decisions.
This includes competition results. Whoever runs a competition is responsible for how it is organised and for its results.
11. Sharing dogs and transfers
- The account that manages a dog's profile decides who can see it: co-owners, trainers, vets and viewers. Access can be limited in time and in how much history it shows, and can be revoked at any time.
- Transferring a dog's profile hands its management to another account, which then decides who can see it. You choose whether the training history goes with it. After a transfer you keep trainer access, which the new manager can remove.
- Share only with people you trust, and only information you are entitled to share.
12. Price
Firepaw is free. If we introduce paid features, we will tell you the price and the terms before you buy anything, nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement, and we will explain any right you have to withdraw from the purchase.
13. Updates and changes to the service
- We provide the updates, including security updates, needed to keep Firepaw working as described in these terms for as long as you have an account.
- We may change Firepaw only for a valid reason: to comply with the law or a decision of an authority; to fix a security problem or protect users; to adapt to changes in the devices, sensors, app stores or services Firepaw depends on; or to add, improve or remove features while keeping the service substantially as described. Changes cost you nothing.
- If a change affects your access to or use of Firepaw more than in a minor way, we tell you clearly by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. You can then end this agreement free of charge by deleting your account, within 30 days of the change taking effect.
14. Our liability
- We provide Firepaw with reasonable care and skill. If it does not conform to these terms, you have the rights the law gives you, including to have it brought into conformity or to end the agreement.
- We are fully liable for death or personal injury caused by our fault, for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, and wherever the law does not allow liability to be limited.
- Otherwise we are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when you accepted these terms, for loss caused by your breach of them, or for events beyond our reasonable control.
- Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.
15. Suspending or ending your account
- You can stop using Firepaw and delete your account at any time, in the app or as described on our Delete your Firepaw account page.
- We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other users or the service from a real risk. Unless the law or an urgent risk prevents it, we warn you first and give you a chance to put things right. We always tell you why and how to challenge the decision.
- If we ever stop providing Firepaw altogether, we tell you by email at least 60 days before, and you can ask for a copy of your data in that time.
- What happens to your data when an account ends is explained in our Privacy Policy and on our Delete your Firepaw account page.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when Firepaw or the law changes. We tell you about material changes by email and in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before then. If you keep using Firepaw after they take effect, the updated terms apply. The date at the top of this page shows the last update.
17. General
- If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- We may transfer this agreement to another organisation that takes over Firepaw, provided your rights are not reduced. We will tell you, and you can delete your account if you do not want to continue. You may not transfer your account to someone else.
18. Apple and Google
If you downloaded Firepaw from Apple's App Store or Google Play:
- These terms are between you and SIMINVEST EOOD only, not Apple Inc. or Google LLC. SIMINVEST EOOD, not Apple or Google, is solely responsible for Firepaw and its content.
- Your licence to use the app is non-transferable and limited to devices you own or control, as permitted by the usage rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions or by Google Play's terms.
- SIMINVEST EOOD alone is responsible for maintaining and supporting Firepaw. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support.
- If Firepaw fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund any price you paid for the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses caused by such a failure are SIMINVEST EOOD's responsibility under these terms.
- SIMINVEST EOOD, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claim by you or anyone else relating to Firepaw or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that Firepaw does not meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
- If anyone claims that Firepaw or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, SIMINVEST EOOD, not Apple, is solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a United States Government embargo or designated by it as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Questions, complaints and claims about Firepaw go to SIMINVEST EOOD, 32 Stefan Stambolov St., 4110 Parvenets, Plovdiv Province, Bulgaria, info@firepaw.eu.
- When using Firepaw you must also comply with applicable third-party terms, such as those of your mobile network.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, once you accept them, may enforce them against you.
19. Governing law and disputes
- These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Bulgaria. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of that country.
- If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@firepaw.eu. We aim to reply within 14 days.
- If we cannot resolve it together, you can turn to the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection, which offers conciliation for consumer disputes, or to an alternative dispute resolution body in the EU country where you live.
- You can bring a claim before the courts of Bulgaria or of the EU country where you live.
